Standard print formats

The instructions below will show you how to install the print formats for your printers. Should you wish SBS to do this work for you or if you require any different formats please ask our Sales Department for more information.”

There is a comprehensive set of formats for the TS3 1800 series printer as well as a “starter set” of formats for the printers normally supplied with the SBS automatic machines

 

ICE Zodiac Hawk – To download these jobs to the coder you will need to firstly create a folder on a USB sticks directory called ‘Jobs’. Once you have this, please save all of the .ciff files into the Jobs folder. You can then now insert the USB into the coder and go to the following settings. Tools>Database>External and then select the button showing the green arrow pointing towards a filing cabinet. This will copy all of these jobs onto the local memory. They will then be able to select the job on the home screen using the ‘Job’ button.

Markem SmartDate X40 and X60– After downloading the Image for a SmartDate X40 printer from the Select Bag Sealers website. The file can then be copied onto a USB memory stick ready for transfer to the printer. Once you have loaded the USB memory stick with the required images you can download these to the SmartDate X40 local database. Insert the pre-loaded USB memory stick into the USB connector on the front of the Controller or the USB connector on the rear of the OEM Controller. From the Menu screen select Files, then copy files. Then press select copy from the USB and press the tick and the files will be downloaded from the USB Stick.

Markem 1800 – Once you have loaded the USB memory stick with the required images you can download these to the TS3 – EP local database. Switch the printer out of producing mode and into Ready mode. Insert the pre-loaded USB memory stick into the USB connector on the front of the printer. After a short time you will be prompted for the password. Enter the password 1234 (unless this has been changed) press Accept. The File management screen is displayed. Scroll to Add Images or Add All Images. Select Add Images or Add All Images. After a short time the images that are stored on the USB stick appear. Select the required image and press Add. If an existing image with the same number is in the database, you will be asked if you wish to overwrite this image, press Confirm. When finished remove the USB stick. NOTE: If individual images are required to be added then both the .bff and .image file is required to be uploaded for each image.
