The SBS Thurne Independent System is a flexible, medium speed, semi-automatic bagging and sealing system. After bagging, a printed adhesive tape seal is automatically applied to the bag by the Independent Sealer. The re-sealable tape seals are recognised by the food industry as the safest and most cost effective method of sealing bags.

The Independent System can be supplied with one or more bag opening stations, with various conveyor lengths, depending on the speed required and the nature of the product. The system can also be supplied with a conveyor tilted at 15° for handling loose product.

For added flexibility and convenience, the Independent System may also be supplied on lockable wheels.

The Independent System is used in food and non-food applications. From fresh to frozen, from bread to fruit to sausages to pizza and even hardware, the Independent System provides a flexible and reliable solution.
