The start of 2019 has been an exciting time at the Select Bag Sealers office as we welcomed a number of new staff members to the team.
New staff include Jonathan Hinchliff, who has taken to the role of engineering supervisor with aplomb. Jonathan has a decade of experience working in engineering roles, which has stood him in good stead to provide mechanical engineering leadership to the team at Select Bag Sealers.
Having completed an HND in Mechanical Engineering at Bradford College, Aiden Brook joins us as customer support engineer, a role which will include looking after equipment servicing and repairs, as well as equipment installations and customer training.
Meanwhile, Jack Bradford has joined the team as our new production and procurement engineer. With a background in Mechanical Engineering, which he studied at Northumbria University, Jack is now responsible for planning production to optimise lead times for our customers.
Rounding up the new starters is our new compliance and systems manager Ruth Burke, who joined the business in October and who is already doing a fantastic job at managing and maintaining systems and procedures at Select Bag Sealers.
As we look to expand into other emerging markets across the world, while continuing to lead the industry in the UK, it’s a very exciting time to join the Select Bag Sealers team.
“Warburtons Newburn have used Select Bag Sealers for a number of years. Most recently, we purchased two new Flexi-Sealers to replace old, obsolete equipment. The new Flexi-Sealers have been installed and running on our site for almost a year now and have performed very well in this time. The Flexi-Sealer has proven to be a robust and efficient sealer, which requires minimal maintenance attention. We will definitely consider purchasing additional Flexi-Sealers should they be required in future.”
