At Select Bag Sealers, we take our social responsibility seriously and as such have over the years raised money for very worthy charities and this year has been no exception.
In 2018 our target is to raise £10,000 for the Sue Ryder Wheatfield’s Hospice, a local charity and one that is very close to the heart of a number of our staff. Our staff have been amazing and so far a fantastic amount of over £5,000 has been raised.
This autumn we will be embarking on a charity challenge which will see all our staff cycling on exercise bikes with the aim of covering the equivalent distance of approx 400 miles and we are hoping this is where our customers can help us out and support us in our challenge.
One of our great customers Row Hire are providing an exercise bike to us for the week and so we would like to acknowledge them and thank them for their support.
The route and distance is to be planned based on “virtually” visiting our partaking customers and suppliers on route, and will be highlighted on our website giving you the opportunity to benefit from some positive PR. As each person is cycling we will be recording the results via our website confirming distance achieved and those who have supported us along the route with a photo of the premises or a member of staff to make it more personal.
We’d love our customers to join with us in supporting this challenge by making a donation (details of how to do this are below), and we would appreciate you sending us a picture of your office, factory or staff so we can promote your company on our website.
Our plan is to run this over the week commencing 15th October and so please can you acknowledge your pledge to us for this.
“SBS supplied and installed four of their Flexi Sealers on our bagging lines. Each sealer was fitted with the Markem "Series 18" printer. The installation was smooth and trouble free and the on-site training was excellent. We are currently very pleased with the high standard of bag sealing / print quality and have no hesitation in recommending SBS to any prospective customer.”
