Established over 30 years ago, our aim has always been – and remains – to help our customers overcome traceability and food safety issues through the supply of superior bag sealing tape and paper bag sealing technology.
There are a number bag sealing techniques on the market, but we firmly believe that tape sealing has more to offer than any of its rivals. Here’s why:
Safe – re-sealable tape is widely recognised by the food industry as the safest means of sealing bags, and is the preference of many food manufacturers and processors over plastic tags or twist ties. It is safe if swallowed and also metal detector friendly, giving you added traceability benefits.
Flexible – offering a range of colour and substrate options, re-sealable adhesive products and the ability to include extensive data on your bag seal to support traceability, our paper or tape and paper bag seals give you a highly flexible alternative to other fasteners.
Cost-effective – the tape seal is globally recognised by the food industry as a cost effective bag sealing method, particularly when there is a requirement for regular re-sealing to keep the end product fresh.
A bespoke approach
Our approach is simple: we aim to provide total sealing solutions. In practice, this means providing a high quality range of bag sealing tape and equipment backed with extensive technical help, on-site service engineer support, proactive preventative maintenance and a comprehensive range of parts held in stock for quick delivery.
The SBS product range offers capacity ranging from 15 bags per minute with our table top sealer to almost 100 per minute with our latest fully automated equipment. Through our partnership with tape manufacturer ProSpool, we can offer our customers a variety of packages that can include machinery, tape and full support service.
Our goal is to continue to innovate, staying ahead of the market by using our extensive knowledge and expertise to exceed customer requirements and expectations with state of the art equipment, products and customer service.
“We are very pleased with the way our two SBS machines have worked so far. They haven’t missed a beat and going forward we will be looking to set up yearly service visits from SBS to ensure both machines continue to deliver the best possible performance.”
